1. What is a light source?

A: There is a shadow light source, because the directivity of the illumination is relatively strong, so when the workpiece with high and low unevenness is irradiated, the high target is projected onto the plane of the low target to form a shadow, so that the light source can be classified as having a yin light source. The biggest feature of a light source is that the light source usually only illuminates from one direction, and does not illuminate the entire space from the workpiece like a shadowless light source.

In general, LED light sources such as ring light, strip light, spot light, line light, coaxial (parallel) light, and surface light can be classified as a light source.

2. What is a shadowless light source?

A: There are many other types of shadowless light sources. As long as the light coming out is diffuse and disordered, there is no shadow when shooting an object.

The machine vision LED light source is more common in the dome-free light (also called integral light source), flat shadowless light source, circular shadowless light source, and four-sided shadowless light source. The shadowless light source is generally used for more reflective surface inspection, OCR character recognition, rugged product inspection, part presence inspection, and visual inspection requiring high uniformity of field illumination.

3. Is the “low price” strategy of robots feasible?

A: Last year, the price war of robot enterprises appeared, which led to a sharp reduction in the profits of domestic enterprises, which further led to the reduction of R&D investment. The reduction of R&D investment will in turn affect the performance and sales of products. This cycle is also the difficulty of many domestic enterprises.

In the early stage, relying on this fierce low-price strategy is obviously unfavorable to the development of the industry. Companies that implement this low-cost, volume-oriented strategy can not meet the investor's income requirements, but only lose money and drink, with the “coolness” of capital. It will inevitably face a severe test.

Affected by the “low price strategy” of the domestic industrial robot market, the trend of imported robots “quantity reduction and price slip” may continue. International giants who are increasingly turning their attention to the Chinese market have already begun to prepare for price cuts. Among them, Kawasaki is the most obvious. Only such companies have the capital to fight price wars and seize the Chinese market through a large amount of shipments.

4. What are the factors that affect the imaging quality of optical lenses?

A: The imaging quality of different industrial lenses varies widely, even for the same type of industrial lens. This is mainly due to factors such as material, processing precision and lens structure, and also leads to different grades of industrial lens lenses. The huge difference from a few hundred yuan to several tens of thousands.

For the lens design and manufacturer, the optical transfer function OTF (Optical Transfer Function) is generally used to comprehensively evaluate the lens imaging quality. The optical system transmits the information along the spatial distribution of the brightness. When the optical system transmits the information of the subject, it is transmitted. The sinusoidal signal of each spatial frequency, the degree of modulation and the change of the phase in the actual image, are all functions of the spatial frequency. This function is called the optical transfer function.

The OTF is generally composed of a modulation transfer function MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) and a phase transfer function PTF (Phase Transfer Function).
